Waikoloa Fire Station is located on Waikoloa Road.  Company 16 consists of a fire truck, 2000 gallon tanker, and an ambulance unit with a total of 4 personnel providing both fire and emergency medical services. This station also houses the West Hawaii Assistant Fire Chief who is responsible for all operations of the Battalion "B" districts.  There are temporary plans to house the West Hawaii Hazmat Unit unit a new fire station can be built in Kalaoa.
